Music

Choir singing in front of churchAdult Choir: This choir forms the main body of our music ministry each week. We rehearse every Wednesday evening (August through May) and sing at the 11:00 service (and occasionally at 8:45) most Sundays. Choral experience is a bonus for new members, but if you love to sing and have always wanted to be in a choir, please don’t hesitate to contact us. You are welcome to visit rehearsals and see what choir life is all about.

The Consort: This audition only choir rehearses two Wednesdays each month (September through May) and sings one Sunday a month at the 8:45 and 11:00 services. The Consort is formed of independent musicians with strong sight-reading skills and years of choral experience. The pace is fast, but the rewards are tremendous. This group sings from a diverse repertoire of musical styles.

String musiciansThe Handbell Choir: This Choir meets every Sunday at 12:30 from mid-September through Easter. We play when we feel ready, so the pressure is minimal. With our three octave set of Schulmerich Bells, we joyfully ring at the 8:45 and 11:00 services. Some music reading skill is preferred. If you have had a few years of piano, you are ready to play handbells!

Musicians: Rick Jackson (Organist) and Donna Stokes-Rogers head up the amazing crew of musicians that perform at St. Paul’s. They are always looking for more ways to plug more people and more instruments into our worship together.
