Love Thy Neighbor
Love Thy Neighbor’s (LTN) mission is to seek out and serve our more vulnerable neighbors and put God’s love into action through meeting immediate needs and building bridges of community, opportunity, and hope.
LTN provides volunteer opportunities for all ages.
Look for details in the Takeout or News from the Pews for opportunities to share God’s love with our neighbors in a variety of ways.
Soup Ministry
The Soup Ministry, coordinated by Love Thy Neighbor, offers the chance for volunteers to provide comfort food to a fellow parishioner. We meet every other month in Otey Kitchen to prepare heartwarming soups that will be stored in Otey freezer for delivery to parishioners to provide comfort and compassion during life’s challenging moments.
Cookie Ministry
A Cookie Ministry, coordinated by Love Thy Neighbor, offers the chance for volunteers to provide kindness, encouragement, thanks and some yummy treats to our hard-working neighbors. St. Paul’s Cookie Ministry’s mission is to deliver homemade cookies to non-profits, emergency and first responders in our community as a thank you for the vital, compassionate work they perform.
Parishioners are invited to bake and bring homemade cookies to Otey Kitchen and Love Thy Neighbor volunteers will repackage cookies into cute boxes with labels and a thank you note, and then deliver cookies to a provided list of recipients.
