Beloved Community
As a congregation of the Episcopal Church, St. Paul’s participates in the Beloved Community, with the opportunity to meet with others in this Parish, in this Diocese, in the Episcopal Church and beyond. We gather with people interested in conversation about racial reconciliation, telling the fuller story, and social justice. There are many ways to join with others in nurturing the body of Christ within the diocese of Tennessee, and the cities of Franklin and Nashville.
Our hope is to continue, by whatever means possible, to provide relevant resources, offer book studies, and opportunities to engage in conversations. Beloved Community at St. Paul’s continued to participate in the Beloved Community of the Diocese of TN. Some activities are organized by the diocese such as the Absalom Jones service at Christ Church Cathedral in February and a day-long anti-racism training led by the Beloved Community
Commission.
